Chris Jones was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, his Mother, Robin Annette Clay-Menchion, brought her family to Panama City, Florida in 1996. Chris was always an active young man, but it was the sport of basketball that he excelled in. Chris attended Bay High School where he played varsity basketball for four years.

His playing skills on the court placed him in the spotlight varsity basketball which ultimately led to him being team captain.  He completed his high school career in 2008 with a scholarship to FSU.

Chris started his college career at FSU Tallahassee, where he became a little fish in a large lake, the large campus life was not working for Chris. In 2010, he transferred to Gulf Coast State College where he was greeted with open arms. He served the student body as the Vice President of Student Government. He received his Associated Degree from Gulf Coast State College in 2014.

Chris started a career in sales, which would take him to a few different places. One of those places would be Tampa, where Chris would take a leap of faith and start his own company.

As the President and CEO of Jones Asset Management Corp, Chris was well on his way to fulfilling his dream of owning a successful business. The new property preservation company based out of the Tampa Bay area was growing and serviced clients throughout the state of Florida.

As the business grow Chris realized something was missing in his life, sales and the ability to help his fellow community neighbors.

This February 2017, Chris received his Florida State realtor license. Chris has now incorporated Jones Realty Pro into his growing firm.

With this idea coming to fruition, it allows Chris to fill that missing part of himself.  It is Chris’s assertion that, “I am able to provide my community with knowledge and resources that will allow them to become home owners.” Chris isn’t done yet he states that, “ I will always look for ways to push myself to stay motivated.”

Student Author - Summer 2017

Maryann is a designer, front-end developer and family gal. I like to doodle over fonts and pour through code. Designing web interfaces has to be one of the most challenging and rewarding careers, next to teaching. Requiring constant upgrading of knowledge, meeting demanding deadlines and finding solutions to criticism. And that’s why I love it. In my spare time, I spend as much time with my family Geocaching and playing Pokemon Go. I have an incredibly family and patient husband, James and three wonderful children. Chances are, you’ll find me either in front of a computer screen, at school, or with my family.
