The Norte Dame Cathedral caught fire Monday during the week and was severely damaged in parts of the building including its spire collapsing. But the French government might be looking for an unexpected help to rebuild the major landmark that being Assassin Creed Unity the 2014 Ubisoft game.

Reports say that the reconstruction team may need to use the in-game rendition of the cathedral along with the art team of the 2014 Ubisoft game with the help of architectural historians. To help the give an understanding of the real world measurements and specifications that would not be possible in normal photographs.

Norte Dame was a centerpiece for the game and the game featured a very prominent rendition of 1700 Paris that was well received in accuracy by many, Ubisoft Mentioned it on Twitter that it’s not currently involved in the reconstructions efforts, but is more than happy to help in any way they can.

They also have committed over $500,000  for the reconstruction efforts. Following the news of the tragedy and having a chance to help the put the game that shows the cathedral in all its glory out for free on uplay for a limited time to honor the cathedral. All these efforts have inspired the opposite of review bombs which usually happen when developers incur the wrath of their fan base so thousands of new reviews get posted on steam rating the game negative and bombing the score of the game.

Rather then the game being bombarded by negative reviews the game is being smothered in positive reviews of nice messages. One of those reading: “Thanks, Ubisoft & Assassin’s Creed Unity for giving us an opportunity to appreciate what Notre Dame used to be,” reads one review. “God bless France.” Boosting the popularity of a game that rarely anyone was talking about before this week to one that everyone is. “Video games can enable us to explore places in ways we never could have otherwise imagined,”.

“We hope, with this small gesture, we can provide everyone an opportunity to appreciate our virtual homage to this monumental piece of architecture.” Ubisoft explains in its blog post.

 

Super Smash Bro Ultimate 3.0 Update is Now Live.

 The new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update is now live the update includes a lieu of content and new features things like the new character previously teased Joker. The update also includes a new mode Stage Builder as well as a long list of balance changes. The first and biggest thing in the new update is the new character Joker from Persona 5 is now available for the game he comes with a  new stage about a dozen music tracks are directly taken from the persona series and a lieu of persona spirits. The pack also comes with Persona and sonic inspired mii-fighter costumes.

This joker pack has the individual cost of $6 while the costumes will cost $0.75 each Joker is also included in the Smash Ultimate Fighter pass for $25. The Stage builder also launched with this update but unlike the new playable character its available for everyone who owns the game it allows players to make their own stages and share them online Nintendo also threw in a video editor which is going to allows players to combine their saved clips add sound effects and other features to their videos and they then can be shared likewise with stages through the inclusion of the new Smash World hub on Nintendos switch online smartphone app. lastly in the update is an assortment of balance changes to keep the game in a healthy competitive environment. The big details on the update are now characters will be penalized more for continuous dodging.

Final Fantasy XIV Crossover With XV now Available.

Square Enix hit MMO Final Fantasy XIV has begun its crossover event with the latest game in the franchise, Final Fantasy XV The event will last through May 27, And is set to bring together familiar faces and equipment into the MMO.

The event follows Noctis and his iconic care the Regalia and the warriors of light will be facing off against the threats that have come from Noctis world of Eos. These were the enemies Noctis faces in his world like Magitek infant and armory as well as the Messenger, Garuda.

The Update lets you cut your hair like Noctus and ride in the regalia mount as well as listen to the staple music of the world of Final Fantasy XV  and all you have to do to play in the event is reach level 50 and complete the main story quest The ultimate weapon and the event will be available to pick up in Ul’dah
