Commodores Holding Strong

Basketball season is about to begin and we are looking forward to the Commodore season! The men’s basketball team will be taking on Faulkner State. Tip off is at 5:00 PM at Gulf Coast State College. If you can’t come out, you can listen to it on “WKGC” and GCSC Live Stream Channel. Coach Phil Gaffney will make his debut as the new head coach. He came from Georgia Highlands. Gaffney,   was a Division I assistant at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a head coach at four different junior colleges, leading all four to single season wins records. We also have some great players coming in from around the country. Our women’s basketball team is full of talent and should be able to keep up with their amazing reputation and six championships. We are looking forward to a great season!!

     Also in athletics, our volleyball team will play tomorrow Oct. 26th against South Florida State. Let’s wish them the best of luck. They are currently in a tie for first place since they won last Saturday. Boys baseball is paying today against PSC. Please come out and support our Commodores!!!
