SGA Held Trick or treating & costume Contest On Halloween in the cafeteria

SGA held Trick or Treating & a costume contest in the Cafeteria from 12:00-1:00 On Halloween

There were tables set up with skeleton trick or treat hands & cauldron bowls & Candy was spread out amongst the tables those who attended were allowed to grab as much candy as they wanted. Several people played minute to win it & they gave away cups filled with hand Sanitizers & candy, pens & Coozies they also had SGA T-shirts and sunglasses & even lanyards with charging cables attached that was something new they gave away. Several of the booths had tons of candy such as skittles & sour candy, Twix & Reese’s & Laffy taffy & M&Ms. The recruitment & LGBTQ booth had Koolaid popping candy & whoopers & skittles. There was also a student veterans booth. The decor was complete with a ghost blow up balloon & an Orqan playing Ghoul with dancing ghouls balloon & they also had a huge creepy looking skeleton balloon in the corner with orange pumpkin lights & orange lights scattered around the cafeteria there was also some carved pumpkins around the cafeteria as well. As for the Costumes they were pretty cool one guy was dressed as a pug in a plaid shirt, Another person had on clown makeup, one girl was dressed as a witch, one person giving out candy was dressed as a Bumblebee, Another girl was dressed as a character from stranger things, one guy was dressed in a zombie mask, two people were dressed as Velma & Scooby Doo, another was dressed as a lab rat & mad scientist, one little boy that came in with his mom was dressed as iron man, one person was dressed as a lab rat & her friend was dressed as a mad scientist, another family that came in their children were dressed as woody & the Flintstones, another girl was dressed in Hawaiian looking flowers & a dress, one of the professors or staff members was dressed in a skeleton costume with purple, green & orange glittery ribbon as a tutu & skeleton face paint, another guy had face makeup like the joker, another professor or staff member was dressed as a rainbow butterfly complete with a rainbow butterfly crown, another girl was also dressed as a skeleton with skeleton makeup, one guy came as a box & he said his costume was “broke til Friday” another guy was dressed as a farmer trying to get a tinder date, another professor or staff member was dressed in pajamas with curlers in her hair.Another professor or staff member was dressed as a minon, a little girl was dressed as a unicorn. they played some really creepy music including the Adams family theme song & nightmare on my street by will smith & the Scooby doo theme song.  A Costume contest was also a part of the festivities Almost everyone in costume entered The two people who came dressed as Velma & Scooby doo were the costume contest winners.  A great time was had by All!
