SGA at Gulf Coast State College Otherwise known as student government Association for people that are not familiar. SGA offers many co-curricular Opportunities ranging from Community service such as campus wide clean up, helping with college projects or even volunteering with the humane society. SGA also holds & promotes engaging conferences, around the table lunches, They also participate in National Model Congress & they also hold Many blood drives throughout the community. SGA’s Leadership conferences are held each year & are open to all students & they encourage you to attend if you are interested.  SGA joins student & classroom life by working with members of the college Faculty on several events throughout the college campus they also show movies with social or school related themes. They also have many great guest speakers that come through that will talk about various topics such as leadership skills & study tips & some even speak on Meditation.  SGA not only covers education & professional knowledge but it is also has exciting & entertaining events happening as well. Events held for students is a huge part of what SGA means to student life around campus they hold events such as “welcome back week” to “movies on the lawn” there is no limit to what kind of events SGA will put together for students. Here on our campus SGA provides a game room that has a pool table, gaming systems with many games & a lounging area for all students to enjoy.
