For today’s COVID chill spot, I’ll tell everyone how and where I spent my days in lock up. For starters, I’ll give a little back story on how I came to spend my time. I probably spent all of march playing video games in the early quarantine stages, but that got dull real fast. At the beginning of April, I was dead tired of being at home. At that point, I have already beaten all of my games. It was April 10 is the day my buddy asked me if I wanted to have fun. “who wouldn’t, he responded. He told me about a place down in Destin, where we live that are doing jet skis and boat rentals. I looked into it, and it was called Wet-N-Wild Water-sports (destinflboatrentals.com).
Myself had worries about it, but the employees said we are fine as long as we stayed off the coast. I probably spent the rest of quarantine on a boat floating out over crab island from dusk till dawn. It didn’t take long for other people to realize that open water was fair game, so it probably took it about two weeks before hordes of people to show up. It felt like, at least when you’re out on the water. It’s like everything went back to normal. From that day on, I spent as much time out on the water as possible. But all good things eventually come to an end. As more people found out about being able to go out onto the water, the less I could get one.
