Commodore Productions serves Gulf Coast State College in many different aspects of video productions and live productions. Commodore Productions’ programming is quite diverse. Between all they do, there are set shows that are produced on the regular.

Military Hour

The Military Hour is a podcast style show hosted by Cary Deeter. The shows primary focus is on the United States military, as the show name suggests. Guests from around the community are welcomed every week to talk about different aspects of the military and military life.

Coaches Corner

The Coaches Corner is another weekly podcast style show and is hosted by James Baxley. Sports are a big topic at Gulf Coast, and so it is only fitting to have a show related to sports. The discussion changes every week and focuses on a different athletic team at GCSC. Each coach from the athletics department discusses a more in depth look of campus sports.

SGA’s Campus Connect

Finally, SGA’s (Student Government Association) Campus Connect is a news report on daily life on campus. Focused primarily on events, the host Sophie Theiss will give an insider look at upcoming events on campus ranging from SGA events, Visual & Performing Arts, Athletic games, and more.

Military Hour and Coaches Corner are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic; however, in due time these shows will be back for regular Commodore Productions’ programming. Every show is filmed from the Advanced Technology Center Studio and is produced by both students and faculty.
