A new student radio show is on the block, the Bam and Dee show, even though they have been on the air quite a bit now, not much is really known about the hosts. That changes today because we have managed to get an exclusive interview with one of the hosts, Dee Tiebklang.

What is your show called?

Currently, we are just calling it the Bam and Dee show, despite already going on air, we still have yet to decide on a proper name.

What type of music do you like?

I really like a mixture of pop, pop-rock, and alternative songs.

What do you talk about on your show?

Well, we do not really stick to one thing, lately, it’s just been random stuff. We really like being carefree, and not tied down to something. Things like talking about studying for exams, or events happening that day or the next, or sometimes politics. Last broadcast we talked about the elections.

How do you handle politics on your show with Shelby when it is usually such a heated topic?

We like to be chill about politics, at the end of the day, everyone is going to stay friends no matter what and respect the other’s opinions.

How do you prepare for the show?

Not much preparation goes into our show, it’s usually just sit down, sometimes we have something we genuinely want to talk about but it’s often just campus events.

Have you had any previous experience with hosting a radio show?

Yeah, it’s really just the experience I learned in the radio production class, but the experience is experience.

What is your vision for your show?

Something smalltime, maybe it will take off with students but I don’t think we’re going to get well known or anything from talking about campus events.
