The Art of Gaming
Logan Bernett attended Gulf Coast State College between the years 2017 and 2019. He graduated with his AA before transferring to UCF in 2020 to pursue a degree in Game Design!
If you are a video game lover, watch out for some of his work in the near future. In our interview, Logan talks about how he had always known that game art was what he wanted to do, “I think games are a powerful and largely untapped resource for that level of meaningful storytelling”. Giving us a real look into what that entails as a student, Logan explains that it is not as easy and fun as most people who join the program think. You have to really have the drive and passion to get through the very “cut-throat” program. He will be graduating with his Bachelor’s degree in 2022 and has already got several game projects in progress!

Fun Fact About the Student:
Logan’s second career option would be to become a philosophy teacher! That’s very different from video games, but he has a love for philosophy and metaphysics!
