Who is Tyler Borges?
Tyler Borges is a 3rd year student-athlete currently attending Gulf Coast State College. While comfortable playing the In-Field, Borges has also been spotted as a Catcher behind home plate. He comes to Panama City from Tallahassee, FL where he attended Leon High School, one of the oldest high schools in the state.
Interview Spot
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Tyler Borges at the conclusion of their Spring 2022 season. The dedicated and opportunist athlete has recently signed with the University of South Alabama. During the interview he shared some insight on his beginnings as a freshmen athlete. He says,”Gulf Coast will always hold that special place in my heart”.
Since he is moving on from Gulf Coast State College, he left some advice for his past teammates.
“When teams play for one another and not for themselves, they win ball games.
