The GCSC Commodores Basketball season is going incredibly well for the women’s team as they are currently sitting at an 11-0 score so far. An undefeated season so far with 11 straight wins is impressive and the Commodores are showing that they mean business. The closest game they have had this season was against Florida SouthWestern on the 2nd with a 72-65 game. That seven-point difference is the closest a team has come to breaking that streak. On the other side of the spectrum, we see the women’s basketball team’s highest point lead being a week later against Southern Union State on the 9th. That game resulted in and 89-0 lead for the Commodores, a complete blowout of a game where the Commodores gave no opportunity for their opponents to score even a single point.
Their last game was against North Arkansas on the 10th with a 93-52 score. Coming off that 42-point lead game, the Commodores are preparing for their last game before Christmas break. On the 16th the Commodores will have a home game against Central Georgia Tech at 3 P.M. This will be their last game for two weeks for Christmas break. They return on the 30th to play against Chattahoochee Valley at South Georgia Tech. After that they will have games on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s against St.Petersburg and Georgia Highlands respectively.
The team is riding the momentum of their undefeated season as they look to keep it going. They have been playing incredibly well and it’ll be exciting to see how things go for the Commodores as the season progresses.

Their game on the 31st has yet to be decided. The first game of January will be on the 7th against Pensacola State at 5 P.M.
That wraps up the coverage of the Commodores basketball teams’ seasons so far. Both basketball teams have shown some incredible effort and the results speak for themselves. Be sure to go and support our Commodores before they go on break.
