Tiana Johnson Is a 3rd-year Digital media student. She began attending Gulf Coast in late 2018 and started as an engineering student. Digital media was not something she saw herself doing as a career. However, it was something she had always been involved in since middle school.
Since starting in the program she has co-hosted Happy Hour, a radio show for the Alternation. As well as, host and assist with the production of Nerd edification for Commodore Productions. She is passionate about creating and hopes to become an animator or director in the future.
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there! Talk to your peers and surround yourself with like-minded people. And take every opportunity given to you because you never know what you could learn from it.
She explains that being a part of the digital media program has been a huge source of inspiration and passion for her. Interacting, learning, and being able to surround herself with a like-minded peer group has been a driving force for motivation over the past couple of years.
