What Did You Miss?
On February 13th, the Natural Sciences Division presented a seminar at the Sarzin Lecture Hall in the Language and Literature Building. Guest speakers, Scott Jackson and Chantille Weber from the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences (UF|IFAS) Extension Office, gave a presentation about the successes and challenges of artificial reef site development. This presentation covered the types of material used for fisheries management, the roles of stakeholders, and extreme weather impacts on the established reef systems.
