About GCSC’s radiography program: The radiography program at GCSC teaches students how to take special pictures of the inside of the human body using X-rays. Students learn anatomy (the body’s parts and how they work) and how to use X-ray machines safely. They also learn about different medical conditions and how they appear on X-ray images. The duration of the program is approximately 21 months. For more information, please contact Lacy Newsom at (850) 913-3318 or lnewsom@gulfcoast.edu
About GCSC’s sonography program: The GCSC sonography program teaches students how to use ultrasound devices to create pictures of the inside of the body.
