Color What?
The Student Government Associate (SGA) at Gulf Coast State College hosted it’s first ever Color Run event on March 14, 2024. As a part of their Spring Break Send-Off, SGA Officers and volunteers worked together to determine a set path for the runners. Along the route, students were dusted with colored chalk and treated to snacks and treats upon their completion of the course.

What Did I Learn?
I would say that the most challenging part of the project was figuring out how to control audience perception. The event I chose for this assignment had a small turnout, so I had to be mindful of how I framed my shots in order to make each scene looked full. Giving myself multiple types of shots to work with for each subject also helped a lot. Lastly, being intentional with my song choice helped me set the tone and pace for the rest of the project, though the process of finding one was tedious.
