Graphic design is an integral part of digital media and stands out as much as post production and video editing. It is important to understand the basic of how the process begins and how it reaches it’s goal.
WHAT IS GRAPHIC DESIGN EXACTLY?
Graphic design in itself is an entire job or hobby. In filmmaking and post production, graphic design in a piece in an entire puzzle. Many programs are used to create graphics and logos for use in a whole industry or just in a video.
Just to name a few programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
HOW DOES IT BEGIN?
Focusing specifically on graphic design as a process; it normally begins with an idea. If you were working for a corporation or a business, it would begin with your target audience. Depending on your target audience it will impact how you create the design.
Once your target audience and idea is found, it’s time for rough sketches and variation between them. This is where your creative juices start to flow and you decide what styles you prefer and which ones you do not. This also includes finding your color swatches and scheme.

HOW DOES IT END?
During the final stages of your design project, it completely enters the digital space. You now take your sketches and decide which base you like the most and what elements you want to add in. Now it’s time to enter your graphic design program.
From there, it is all about applying your sketch to a digital format that can be a deliverable. Time to add in your color swatches, elements, and ensure the highest quality when rendering. In laments terms, that’s how a graphic design process would go.
