The long slump

Unfortunately when it came to any progress after the logo being finalized,  Safejumps did not exactly pursue any further other than hosting their brackets every week and going with the flow with everything. While doing this did have their name become more known , they sort of were just there not exactly doing much. The top 8 graphic however was consistent and the logo they had made worked out really well in their favor

The logo has a broken halo along with a character along in the background doing an attack in the air doing a fundamental called a “safejump”. A safejump is a fundamental that prevents the character from pressing an invincible move granting them the ability to have their turn. The graphic designer that made this logo was Natsujatsumi, or Natsu for short

The big move

The co owners of the SJS had a meeting sometime around August they decided to start the SJS brackets as a monthly bracket instead of a weekly in order for the owners to keep up the financial prize. In addition, Safejumps offically that they would be starting the org as a team instead of just being a friend group team. Things were starting to really kick off once this happened. As a result they gained new teammates named as the following:

  • Tenack
  • Albertdoug
  • LordKribington
  • Hopeful Romantic
  • Beef

How forming the team worked

One of the co owners announced the making of the new Guilty Gear Strive team. If they wanted to try out they would need to directly contact one of the co owners and talk with them about details (Time, when, etc.). If the co owners thought they would be a good asset and had a good background they would let them on the team. At first, the first few weeks were a bit rocky but eventually everything started to go smoothly. the team was given a few benefits such as getting payment to go to big tournaments and such. They consistently have meetings with each of the teams.
