Volleyball:
The Lady Commodores Volleyball team is working hard in the gym this week as they get ready for a major tournament in Rockford, Illinois, happening this weekend. Six of the five tough opponents the Lady Commodores will face at the OWT event are ranked in the top 15 in the NJCAA Preseason rankings. Three of the teams made it all the way to the Quarterfinal and Semifinal games during last year’s NJCAA National Tournament.

August 23: South Mountain CC at 11 am, (Preseason #6) Illinois Central College at 1pm.
August 24: (Preseason #9) Kirkwood CC at 8am, (Preseason #7) Iowa Central CC at 12pm.
August 25: (Preseason #15) Neosho County at 9am, (Preseason #5) Parkland College at 1pm.

The Lady Commodores are on the road until September when they host Conference opponents St. Petersburg on September 12^th at 6pm, State College of Florida – Manatee on September 13^th at 6pm, and Pasco-Hernando on September 14^th at 4pm in the Billy Harrison Fieldhouse.

Women’s Cross Country:

The 2024-25 season marks an exciting beginning for the Lady Commodores Women’s Cross Country team. They will start their very first season on August 30th at the Foothills Invitational in Oxford, Alabama.

Head Coach Tom Dever has worked hard to build a strong team by recruiting talented runners right from the Florida panhandle. Out of the twelve runners on the team, eleven are graduates from local high schools including Arnold High School, Bay High, Bay Virtual, Bozeman, Freeport, North Bay Haven, Mosley, and Port St. Joe.

Coach Dever and the Lady ‘Dores will host the Gulf Coast Invite on October 3^rd at Majette Park at 4 pm.

Fall Baseball:

Head Baseball Coach Tyler Younger has released their 2024 fall schedule.  The Commodores will begin their fall season vs. Enterprise State on September 5^th vs. at Troy University at 10 am.  They will host Tallahassee State College (non-conference game) on September 25^th at 2 pm, Wallace Community College-Dothan on October 8^th at 3 pm, Chipola College (non-conference game) on October 25^th at 11 am, and Florida Post Grad on October 29^th at 3 pm on Frazier Field.

Fall Softball:

Head Softball Coach Scot Thomas has released their 2024 fall schedule.  The Lady Commodores will host 14 travel softball teams as well as Enterprise State CC (9/18 at 4 pm DH), Andrew College (9/28 at 3 pm DH), Reid State Technical College (10/11 at 12 pm), Lurleen B. Wallace CC (10/11 at 4 pm), and Florida A&M (10/12 at 12 pm DH).

They will travel to Tallahassee, FL for their game vs. FSU on October 19^th at 1 pm CST, and Troy, AL for their 10-inning game vs. Troy University on October 25^th at 5 pm CST.
