The Fall 2024 semester is underway, but there is another term for students interested in completing courses this semester. Fall C is an eight-week term that begins on Monday, October 14, 2024, with many of the term courses offered online. View the course catalog at www.gulfcoast.edu/catalog. · Dad Jokes: Lessons from My Father

Join us October 18 – 20 and Oct. 25 – 27, 2024, for an unforgettable experience of laughter and drama with Neil Simon’s “California Suite!” This brilliant play weaves together four comedic and poignant stories set in a luxurious Beverly Hills hotel.  Limited seating. · Get Ready to Trunk-or-Treat at our Fall Fest!

Gulf Coast’s Student Government Association (SGA) is hosting its annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 25, 2024, an evening of festive enjoyment that welcomes the entire community. Attendees can look forward to a night of family-friendly entertainment, including the popular Trunk-or-Treat activity, where decorated vehicles will be filled with treats for all to enjoy. The SGA will also offer food, games, and prizes. This event is free to attend and open to the community.

· Deadline to apply to our LPN certificate program is Oct. 30.

The deadline to apply for the Spring 2025 Licensed Practical Nurse certificate program is Wednesday, October 30, 2024. LPNs give patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The program takes one year to complete and licensed graduates earn an average salary of $57,140. Learn more at www.gulfcoast.edu/nursing.

· Help Us Celebrate 11 Years of Soar!

Public Eye Soar returns to Gulf Coast on November 8 – 9, 2024, from 6 pm-10 pm, on the Panama City Campus. Join us for a free outdoor art festival featuring projected art, animation, music, theatre, dance, and interactive activities.

· Join us for our Health Sciences Dual Enrollment Academy Open House

All 8th – 12th graders and their parents or guardians are invited to join us to learn how high school students can get a head start on the required courses (prerequisites) towards GCSC’s health sciences and nursing programs while in high school. The Health Sciences Dual Enrollment Academy Open House will be on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5 – 7 pm, CST, on the Panama City Campus, Health Sciences Building. The open house is free to attend. We will also have free food and giveaways during the event!
