  •  Get Ready to Trunk-or-Treat at Our Fall Fest

Gulf Coast’s Student Government Association (SGA) is hosting its annual Fall Festival this Friday, October 25, 2024, an evening of festive enjoyment that welcomes the entire community. Attendees can look forward to a night of family-friendly entertainment, including the popular Trunk-or-Treat activity, where decorated vehicles will be filled with treats for all to enjoy. The SGA will also offer food, games, and prizes. This event is free to attend and open to the community.

  • Find a Great Career in Health Sciences & Nursing at Our Fall Career Fair

Gulf Coast State College is holding a two-day Health Sciences & Nursing Fall Career Fair on October 28-29, 2024, in the Health Sciences Building on our Panama City campus. This event is free to attend and open to our current and former health sciences and nursing students.   • GCSC Nursing & Health Sciences Interdisciplinary Event

Students from GCSC’s nursing, physical therapy assistant, sonography, radiography, respiratory, and surgical services programs will be working together for an interdisciplinary event on October 30-31, 2024. The purpose of the event is for the students to work together and create solutions for challenges that they may encounter in the workplace, as well as in school.  The simulation event will be held on the Panama City Campus Health Sciences building with a morning session from 9 am-12 pm CST and an afternoon session from 1 pm-4 pm CST.

  • The Deadline to Apply to Our Surgical First Assisting Program is Nov. 1.

The deadline to apply for the Spring 2025 cohort of GCSC’s Surgical First Assistant program is Friday, November 1, 2024. Surgical First Assistants aid in the exposure of the surgical area, control bleeding, assist in wound closure and support other tasks during surgery to help the surgeon perform operations safely.   • The deadline to Apply to Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program is Nov. 30.

The deadline to apply for the Spring 2025 cohort of GCSC’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is Saturday, November 30, 2024. The RN-BSN program is designed to empower Registered Nurses (RNs) with an associate’s degree to excel in their nursing careers, pursue advanced education, and become a leader in nursing.
