This event coincides with the 60th anniversary of Federal TRiO Programs—which break down higher education barriers for low-income families, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities.

These programs are specifically aimed at individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those who are low-income and first-generation Americans. The ultimate goal is to increase college retention and graduation rates among the participants by addressing the unique challenges they may encounter on their educational journey.
