Panama City, FL – The Gulf Coast State College Division of Visual and Performing Arts presents Rodgers & Hammerstein’s A Grand Night for Singing, a musical revue celebrating the legendary works of Broadway composers Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein.
This production features an all-student cast and over 30 beloved songs from classic musicals, including Oklahoma!, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, and more, accompanied by Dr. Steven DiBlasi on grand piano and directed by Professor Vincent Pelligrino. Experience fresh interpretations of Broadway’s most cherished melodies in this joyful tribute to musical theatre’s greatest songwriting duo.
Musical arrangements by Fred Wells; orchestration by Michael Gibson and Jonathan Tunick; conceived by Walter Bobbie. Originally produced by Roundabout Theatre Company, New York City, in 1993. A Grand Night for Singing is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
