As the first signs of spring bloom on Campus, the Student Government Association at Gulf Coast State College is gearing up for an action-packed month of March. From exciting fitness events to movie nights and snow cones, there is a little something for everyone to enjoy. Here is a look at all the exciting events happening around campus this month.

Color Run For Fun
The fun kicks off with our much anticipated Color Run! This event is perfect for anyone looking to get some exercise and have a good time. The Color Run will take place on Wednesday, March 5th from 12:30pm to 2:00pm CST. The event is open to all Gulf Coast State College and Florida State University of Panama City students. Participants will begin at the Wellness Building and run a set course around the campus until they reach the Military and Veteran Resource Center Building at the end of the main student parking lot. While traversing through the course, they will be doused with vibrant and colorful powders along the way. The Color Run isn’t just about fitness. It is about community and celebration of Spring Break. In addition to the run, food, music, and goody bags will also included. So come on out and join us! All students must sign up here.

Movie Night Featuring Paddington 2
After a long day, why not settle down with with a relaxing movie? The SGA is hosting a Movie Night on Friday, March 7th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm CST for all families of students and the community. Bring your friends and family and have a fun and relaxing time watching the movie Paddington 2. People can also enjoy popcorn, snow cones, drinks, giveaways and more! The event will take place at the Gulf Coast State College Baseball Field. If you or someone you know is interested, don’t miss out!

Snow Cone Thursday
On Thursday, March 27th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm CST, we will be offering snow cones on campus! Stop by the SUE Breezeway and get yourself a delicious Spring treat. Choose from a variety of refreshing flavors.
Apply For The SGA Executive Board
For students looking to take their involvement to the next level, applications for the SGA Executive Board open on March 3rd. This a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the leadership team that helps shape student life and activities on campus. Applications close on March 28th so you have until then to submit them. If you are passionate about making a difference, organizing events, or representing your peers, the SGA Executive Board is the place to be.
