Panama City, FL – Gulf Coast State College will recognize outstanding student achievement at two major events this spring.

Honors Convocation will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the Amelia G. Tapper Center for the Arts. This ceremony honors students who have demonstrated exceptional academic, athletic, and personal achievements during the 2024-25 academic year. Students selected for recognition have been formally invited to attend, and their families and friends are encouraged to join in celebrating their accomplishments.

Commencement will take place the following week on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Edgewater Beach and Golf Resort. More than 1,092 students are graduating from GCSC this academic year, with over 400 expected to participate in the graduation ceremonies.

  • 10:00 a.m. Ceremony – Associate in Arts Degree recipients
  • 2:00 p.m. Ceremony – Baccalaureate Degree, Associate in Science Degree, and Certificate recipients

Both ceremonies will be streamed live at gcsctv.com for family and friends who cannot attend in person.
