Know the difference between AI’s
When one hears the word AI nowadays, people will usually assume they’re talking about the one that makes images or the one that helps you write an essay. There’s a lot of different types of artificial intelligence that we’ve been introduced to. The main two being known is Generative and Analytical. There are many more out there that have their own differences, but let’s stick to these main two for now.
Analytical AI
This type of Artificial intelligence was one of the first things it was introduced for in its purpose, to aid in helping businesses. This AI refers to the application of artificial intelligence and algorithms to automate the analysis processes. It interprets data, derive insights, and makes predictions or recommendations. This is one of the reasons of what Artificial intelligence was supposed to stick to, to stay in just taking care of the analytics of complex tasks. But as all technology it’s involved from this to the other type we’re talking about here.
Generative AI
Generative AI is usually what people think about nowadays AI in general means with seeing it all over the place. From AI generated images to essay help, to chat bots everything in that field is generative AI. It generates other things and responses from other works 0r existing content, filtering common factors of them. To which poses a negative impact of people like artists and writers since it’s taking parts of their works and making something that they made over a long time period in a matter of minutes.

This video by a channel named KI-Campus explains the way generative AI works in a quick summary. In this clip they explain the basic in how it works, along with how people may misuse it. It’s become a commonality where people use Gen AI to spread misinformation, whether it be on websites or poster flyers.
Generative AI has seen its recent influx in growth with the oh so popular Character AI bots. There lots of different apps that offer the chance to talk to your favorite character to build a story or relationship with. But many people aren’t seeing is the impact it’s having on writers. Readers are wanting to live that fantasy in the moment by having an answer given to them as they talk, making it harder for writers.
So is AI good or bad?
There is no right or wrong with the Artificial intelligence itself, It’s how it’s used by us and people’s intentions. Because any person could use it as a tool then claim the work of the AI and the information it took to make a profit. We should learn to like with all things to use AI honorably and with the right intentions.
