For starters, everyone has a passion. Whether it’s art, computer, science, or math, we all have a stronger point of interest than the others. However, have you ever thought that combining two is a possibility? Well graphic design is just that! This education is offered here at Gulf Coast State College. Here you can learn all things about becoming a digital designer.
First, let’s take a look at the program from the inside. I interviewed a current student to see what she has learned in graphic designing:
For starters, I have learned about many things. However the one thing that I feel that will really help me is the concept of color! Color plays a major role when it comes to producing a print or artwork. To clarify, you want to pick colors that are going to go well with each other! It helps to look at a color wheel and use colors that are across from each other which are considered contrast, or colors that are side by side!
In other words, you’ll learn little by little things to improve your graphic designing techniques and prepare you for a potential job.
This being said, feel confident in choosing Gulf Coast State College as your starting point. To conclude, I asked Brittany Parsons to share her thoughts for a potential graphic design student:
It’s an amazing learning experience! You don’t need to have any background knowledge on the subject if you’re interested in taking the course! There is a lot to learn and take away and the teacher is amazing! He is very understanding and will help you with any problems that you might come across!
