The first matchup had Gulf Coast face the Eastern Florida Titans. The Lady Commodores controlled the game from the tip as they never trailed in the game. After the game, Ozzy-Momodu said, “I wasn’t feeling like myself at first, but my teammates picked me up and that woke me up. If one person is down, we’re going to pick each other up.”
Saturday’s game for the Commodores was against the Miami Dade Sharks. It was another dominating performance for Gulf Coast, especially on the defensive side. Miami Dade was only able to score 15 points in the first half on a dismal 17% field goal percentage.
