However, the Lady Commodores stay at the top may be short lived after a heartbreaking loss to Chipola College Saturday night. That defeat is sure to shake up rankings when the next poll is released. If the Lady Dores’ fall it will not be by much as their 24-2 record is still one of the best in NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball.
Up next for the Commodores is a tough road test against the #9 ranked Tallahassee Community College Eagles, this game will have Panhandle Conference title implications as the Commodores hold a slim 1 game lead with 3 games to go. This game is also important as tiebreakers may come into play at the end of the season. The teams have split the series so far this year with each winning one game on their home court. This game is in Tallahassee with tip off slated for 4:30 Central Time.
The Lady Commodores will finish off the regular season with a home game February 18th versus Northwest Florida State and a road game at Pensacola State February 22nd.
