Positions offered at Gulf Coast State College are in relation to community services. One example is a library assistant. Flexible hours are provided and being a library assistant requires a strong work ethic and reliability.

It is required for students to have at least 6.0 credit hours to be eligible.

A student who is a library assistant is Marisa Weiman. For Marisa, the position is flexible and she is able to work on her assignments when she has available time.

Marisa Weiman: “I love being a student assistant! I get to work on school [assignments] when we aren’t busy and get along with all my coworkers. I check out and check in books, do shelve reading, help students work the printer, and work on displays.”
